ADJUSTABLE SADDLE SYSTEM
Our adjustable system for changing the angle of the saddle’s front arch (Adjustable Saddle System) stands out from other solutions available on the market thanks to its unique construction. It allows the arch angle to be adjusted without changing the width of the gullet. This is our legally protected innovation. Thanks to this:
• with narrow angles, the channel does not press against the withers,
• with wide angles, the gullet does not collapse downward or move closer to the withers.
Our solution improves the horse’s comfort, the safety of use and the correct of saddle fit under various arch angle settings.
The Adjustment Saddle System allows to set the front arch angle from 75° to 105°, which makes it possible to fit the saddle to a very wide range of back conformations — from very flat backs (e.g., cold-blood horses) to very narrow and steep backs (e.g., Arabian horses). The adjustment is smooth, allowing precise fitting to different horses as well as to a horse’s changing physique (for example during muscle development, seasonal changes or aging).
Furthermore, because the gullet width remains constant, changing the front arch angle does not cause the saddle bars to move further apart when the angle is widened. As a result, the twist remains consistently narrow, allowing the rider’s thighs to maintain the same degree of contact with the horse, regardless of the selected setting.
Because the saddle tree includes lateral points, these increase the weight-bearing surface, making it possible to achieve a relatively short saddle length. This helps reduce the risk of bridging (lack of pressure in the middle of the saddle) and rocking (pressure concentrated in the middle of the saddle).
As a result, when combined with the Adjustable Saddle System, the universality of the saddle increases and the likelihood of fitting problems across different back types decreases.
The system was designed for maximum ease of use. The arch angle is adjusted smoothly using an Allen key (included with the saddle), inserted from the top.
Thanks to this solution, adjustment can be carried out:
• quickly and precisely,
• without the need for specialist tools or a saddle fitter,
• even while sitting on the horse, without removing the saddle,
• and the fit can be fine-tuned repeatedly.
To change the angle of the front:
1. Insert the key through the hole at the top slot,
2. rotate clockwise to widen the angle or counterclockwise to make it narrower.
3. When fitted — remove the key.
Do not use too much force or electric tools- it may damage the mechanism. During addjustment do not press the front of the saddle. If adjusting on the horse lean back a little to release the pressure from the front part of the saddle. The top-mounted mechanism is self-locking, which reduces the risk of accidental angle change during work with the horse.
